William Britain 2005

William Britain® - Napoleonic War Series 2003 - Leaders

On March 11, 1815 Napoleon Bonaparte returned to France after nearly a year in exile. He quickly assembled an army, marched on Paris and reclaimed the French throne. The Major European powers - Great Britain, Prussia, Austria and Russia mobilized against him as quickly as possible. By the summer of 1815, as these armies were closing in on him, Napoleon decided to strike first with a campaign in Belgium. Napoleon made his final stand on June 18th in a small town in Belgium named Waterloo. This historical event has been captured in the William Britain Napoleonic Waterloo Collection.
