The American Civil War was raged between the Union and Confederate forces from 1861 to 1865.

The Union was victorious.

The Anglo-Zulu War was a conflict between the British Empire and the Zulu Kingdom in South Africa in 1879. The British won the war and took over the Zulu territory of Zululand.
