NEW! IN STOCK!
Various types of simple wooden carts have been used for transporting goods for centuries. Small ones were often used for moving any number of different items and could be drawn by small animals or simply pulled by a person. The style we have chosen to reproduce would have been common for hundreds of years throughout European towns and villages, from the 18th into the 20th century. These were often used by families to transport goods to sell on market days. The cargo we have included is dated to the 19th and early 20th centuries by the milk and cream cans that came into general use by the 1870s.
