Welcome to our 2016 Summer Collection of W. Britain model soldiers. The Summer selection adds figures to eight of our ranges. Chronologically, the Wrath of the Northmen range sees thirteen new Viking and Saxon warriors add to the fray.
Our Clash of Empires range welcomes the new limited edition Don Troiani Art of War sets featuring figures based on his painting The Battle of Bushy Run. Don Troiani’s lifelong study of America’s military heritage and the material culture ensures an accurate reconstruction of both Native American Warriors and the men of the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment as they might have appeared at this pivotal battle during Pontiac’s Rebellion in August, 1763.
Our collectors of Napoleonics will see five new figures this catalog ranging from an Officer of the 44th Foot to a 95th Rifles soldier firing for accuracy to three new Brunswick Leib Battalion figures.
The American Civil War gains ground with six members of Hood's Texas Brigade including a company officer, drummer, defending and advancing figures as well as a two figure casualty set. Those who look for more bang in their collection will be happy to see the Confederate 10 Pound Parrott Gun with 4 man crew in this catalog. We are also releasing a Civil War Encampment Accessory Set (12 Piece Set) which includes stacked muskets, barrels, hardtack boxes, extra muskets, knapsacks and more!
The Anglo-Zulu War collection sees the modern innovation of a Hale Rocket Battery with 3 man crew and two members of the 24th Foot dragging a wounded comrade to safety.
The Jack Tars and Leathernecks see Admiral Nelson standing strong, along with a U.S. Marine 1811-18 and a U.S. Marine with BAR 1943-45.
Our Museum series continues with two young men that would become giants of the twentieth century on either side of the Atlantic: Winston Churchill 1898 and Theodore Roosevelt 1898.
Our World War I range continues with a hand-to-hand set featuring a U.S. Infantryman bayoneting a German Infantryman.
World War Two sees nine new German figures including Volksgrenadiers, Fallschirmjägers and a Fallschirmjäger Feldgendarmerie (military policeman) along with the long awaited release of our German 88mm Flak 36, Dual Purpose Gun with 3 Man Crew.
We hope you like the selection presented to you in the 2016 Summer Catalog, however, if we missed something from your favorite range, know that the Fall 2016 catalog is but weeks away!
