This set of typical farm tools is comprised of basic equipment that were most often used to carry out daily chores about the farm. This includes a stone boat that resembles a sled, used to move heavy items short distances, and an always useful wheelbarrow. A scythe, sickle, pitchforks, winnowing tray, and wooden grain shovel are a direct connection to the crops, while a pick and shovel are a nod to other tasks. Tools like this have been ubiquitous on farms in one form or another from the late 17th century until the mid-20th century.
